What Do We Believe?
First Presbyterian Church is a Christian, protestant, evangelical, reformed, and presbyterian church. As such, we seek to know Christ and to make him known because he is our only hope in this life and the next. Salvation is freely offered to those who turn to him in faith and repentance.
We are a part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). For a fuller explanation of what we believe, please see the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms.

Pastor: Parker Johnson
Parker grew up in Montgomery, AL where he became a Christian at an early age. After attending the University of Alabama, he attended Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, AL. There, he met his bride, Kristy. Soon they were married and moved to Montgomery to serve at a PCA church plant downtown. In December of 2013, the Lord called the Johnsons to Brewton to serve at First Presbyterian Church. Parker and Kristy have two children, Thomas and Lizzie.

Secretary: Gloria Steele
Gloria and her husband Edmond are long time residents of Brewton. She keeps the administration of the church running smoothly! She enjoys time with her family and supporting her church.
