Our Mission

At First Presbyterian Church, it is our mission “to know Christ and to make Him known” in our community and around the world. To know Christ is to know Him as Lord and Savior as we receive the forgiveness of our sins and submit to our loving King who laid down his life for us on the cross of Calvary. The great news of the gospel cannot be contained once it is known and accepted, so it is our desire to make Him known through our ministries in both Word and deed. As we seek to fulfill this mission, it is our vision to “equip you to equip others.” This vision is put into action in our various services, studies, and within the fellowship of the saints as they regularly gather for worship and study.
